September: Old Patterns/New Habits

Old habits die hard. Sometimes we don't even recognize the old energetic and emotional patterns in which we're stuck. Sometimes these patterns keep us from being our happiest, healthiest and most productive versions of ourselves. Addiction, enabling behaviors, relationships that are no longer working, even the food we eat, all representative of patterns and habits. Some of these patterns are helpful, and others hold us back.

Last month we talked about energy, and this month we will bring that energy into play in a big way--offering opportunities, resources and information to help you do bigger and better things with the connections you've forged at the universe's behest.

When we discover a pattern has held us back, we encounter a choice: to continue with the same cycle, or to break free by creating new patterns to fill the void.  That's why we also coincided this theme with National Yoga Month--one of our favorite ways to find the peace needed to evaluate what works, and to bring in more of the energy we want.

What better time to revisit old habits than during the back-to-school season.  Even if you (or your children) are long beyond school years, there's something about September, the impending change of seasons, the memory of school years past, or the upcoming holidays that are not yet upon us, that make this time of year perfect for quietly reflecting on the things that have brought us to where we are today.

Join us this month as we discover ways to overcome the cycle of anxiety and depression, live with learning disorders, use posture to build strength from the inside out, and find new eating habits that work with your happiest, healthiest self.  We will also touch on new patterns of thought that allow for better self-care, building strong habits in our children, and breaking the pattern of addiction.

What kind of patterns do you find in your life or your clients' lives that are detrimental to their forward growth? What are some suggestions you can offer for changing them? How does the work you do help create new patterns of learning and growth.
