What is "Mind Key"?

Once simply a novel, Mind Key has blossomed into The Mind Key Project - a hub of knowledge and resources, a community of practitioners, and a calendar of events aligned with bringing people together with their goals and dreams.

Why “Mind Key”?  The term was chosen because we each have the potential within to create the life we want.  There’s no healing, no reality, no dream that is beyond our reach… but finding the resources to bring these things to fruition can be difficult.  Especially in a world full of “nos,” “can’ts” and “impossible.”

It is my belief that nothing is impossible, if only space is created for it.  That space begins within our own bodies, our minds and our hearts.

“Mind Key,” the Novel is a fictional account of 17 year old Noelle Ricci’s journey on this path of self-discovery.  How she became aware of Spirit and of the intangible world around her, how she came to understand the overwhelming energy and emotions swirling within, and how she learned to bend them to her will, creating a reality that was at first frightening, but with direction and practice slowly became the (ever changing) life she wanted to build for herself.

How I wish I had such a heroine as Noe Ricci when I was in high school.

What I soon realized, however, is that although the novel provided a very real and usable (if fictional) outline for growth and self-power, it was only a tiny part of the Mind Key potential.  My baby (the novel) was only the tip of the iceberg.

After all, I hadn’t gotten to writing “Mind Key” on my own.  The words and storyline might be mine, but I wouldn’t have gotten there without a number of other practitioners and professionals.  I learned how to look inside and connect with my body through cranio-sacral work and naturopathic healing.  I gained understanding of manifestation after graduate level classes in teaching troubled students, how to communicate with beings in nature after classes with renowned tree healers, how to see the inner workings of my psyche after practice with focusing, and how to recognize the spirit realm around me after undergoing Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT).

These are but a few of the experiences that encouraged me to create “Mind Key.”  After almost a half decade, I realized it would be a shame to keep this varied and powerful information to myself, or to simply provide it in a convoluted (fictional) account intended for a small portion of the populace (i.e.: young adult readers).  This information came as a result of a community, or core, of like-minded individuals.

Perhaps most importantly, the combination of information and assistance I received won’t work for everyone.  What might be a good fit for one person doesn’t necessarily fit everyone else.  I talk about this with regard to food in my health column on a regular basis.  The same goes for healing and self-growth.

That’s why Mind Key is such an eclectic forum of resources:  with the intention of bringing people together with the modalities of growth that best fits them

If this sounds interesting, please don’t stop reading here.  Please subscribe to our newsletter for weekly updates of new happenings, stop by our calendar for new events, and check out the community tab on our website to see practitioners with the same intention.

I’d also love to hear your opinion on how this baby project is forming.  Please feel free to email me directly or leave a public comment below.

Many blessings as you work toward your highest potential.

May the road rise to meet you….
Until we meet again,
Danielle
